Systems for vehicle seats

As a system supplier, we look at the entire vehicle interior. We offer manual and power drive units that are mutually compatible, enabling us to design a large number of seat variants.

Drive units for adjusting the basic functions of length, height, seat and backrest, can be supplemented as required by further comfort and safety features - for example to extend the seat cushion or to correctly position the headrest. This allows car makers to offer their customers cost-effective “tailor-made” seats.

Rear seat systems
The rear seats today have become part of a multi-functional passenger compartment: Drawing on its decades of experience in developing and producing seat systems for front seats, Brose now applies this knowledge to rear seats, integrating, for the first time worldwide, a length, backrest and headrest adjuster. The adjuster concept makes power folding seats possible. Interaction with the electronically controlled liftgate drive allows an extended flat area to be created at the touch of a button as part of the multi-functional interior. Depending on customer requirements, the seats can also be repositioned or completely removed.
