Engine Cooling and Climate Control

With our fan technology, which is used  in engine cooling as well as in heating and air-conditioning systems, we are aiming at optimizing the thermal efficiency in the vehicle in order to reduce fuel consumption, to ensure engine cooling and improve interior comfort.

Engine cooling plays an all-important role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability and environmental compatibility of a combustion engine. Brose’s cooling fans provide the necessary cool air in all climatic conditions whether the car is in motion or stationary.

Cooling fan modules
Hallmarks of our fan modules include their low profile design and high level of flexibility. As a result of the modular design principle of our modules, it is possible to fulfil different requirements regarding the cooling capacity without any adjustments necessary to the shroud.

Fan drives
Depending on the customer’s requirements, we can provide the appropriate electric motor – ranging from 80 to 1,000 watts. Our development focuses on high efficiency, a long lifetime, low-noise emissions and weight savings. Apart from the proven brush motors, future-oriented brushless motors (see picture) are also available. 

A pleasant climate inside the car greatly contributes to the well-being of the car occupants. Our drives for heating, air-conditioning and ventilation ensure that the temperature and air current are just right. Hallmarks include low-noise emissions, high efficiency and long life.

Heating and air-conditioning blowers

With our new motor family, we have developed a worldwide standard which meets the most challenging customer specifications. Through the use of advanced magnet materials, the blower motors are more efficient, smaller and lighter.
