VW‘s board visits Brose booth

Coburg/Wolfsburg. The Brose Group is satisfied with the outcome of the first fair for suppliers to Volkswagen (VW) held in Wolfsburg. Members of VW’s board including the Chairman, Dr. Ferndinand Piëch, as well as Dr. Bernd Pischetsrieder, Francisco J. Garcia Sanz and Dr. Folker Weißgerber paid a visit to the booth. The VW delegation was very impressed by the new door concepts and system competence of the automotive supplier.

Brose presented a new space-saving window regulator motor, cost efficient electronics and an electro-magnet door lock. In seat adjusters, the focal point was an electronically controlled safety head rest, which automatically adapts to the size of the car occupant’s body.

“From a technical and economical point of view, there are many benefits for the customer with our products, for example, the compact assembly-friendly design as well as the reduction in weight,” concluded Adolf Rosensprung.

Amongst the 120 exhibitors, the Brose Group will be presenting product innovations from the areas of window regulators, door systems and seat adjusters until 9th December.

The corporate group also intends to establish important contacts to students. On 8th December during a “job fair”, which will take place in Wolfsburg, potential employees can come by and obtain information about the wealth of opportunities there are to start and develop a career at the globally operating company.
