Brose extends Spanish location

Sta. Margarida/Spain (01/2002).Together with Jordi Pujol, the President of the State of Catalonia, Executive Vice-President Adolf Rosensprung and General Plant Manager Adolfo Varillas conducted the official inauguration of the new building extension at the Brose location in Sta. Margarida last Saturday. Since beginning its business activities in Catalonia in 1988, the corporate group has invested about 35 million euros in the Spanish company.

In the last four years, Brose S.A.'s business volume has doubled, rising to 144 million euros. This year, the company expects its turnover to increase by 18% to 170 million euros. The Spanish production company produces window regulators for our customers Opel, Citroen, Peugeot, Volkswagen, Renault, Ford and Seat. At the end of 2001, Brose started, for the first time, to produce door systems for SEAT as well.

By extending its administrative and manufacturing areas, the company has created space for additional customer projects.
