Brose Puebla receives award from Volkswagen
Puebla (June 8, 2007). The international automaker Volkswagen has honored the Brose facility in Puebla/Mexico by presenting it with the “Volkswagen Group Award”. Plant manager Harald Röck accepted this accolade from Otto Lindner, Chairman of Volkswagen de México, at the end of May in Mexico.
During the award ceremony in La Finac Las Palmas, Lindner underlined the importance of having an efficient supply chain. “The companies receiving this distinction rank among our best suppliers and are regarded as strategic partners with regard to the future development of Volkswagen de México.”
Brose SA. de C.V. in Puebla, founded in 1997 and with a current headcount of approx. 170 employees, supplies Volkswagen de México with door systems, window regulators, manual seat height adjusters and electronics for Jetta IV and V, the new Beetle convertible and the Golf V Variant.
The Brose Group supplies the Volkswagen Group from 13 production facilities in Europe, North America and Asia. There are currently 46 car models from the brands of Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, Seat and Volkswagen equipped with window regulators, seat adjusters, door systems and closure systems. The automaker is one of Brose’s longest-standing customers.
