Brose Motorsport: F1 meets Rallye

Jerez (29.10.2007). During this year´s 9th Tour de España-Portugal which took place October 21-26, former Formula1 pilot Tiago Monteiro (Portugal) and European Historic Rallye Champion Michael Stoschek (Ahorn) shared the work which proved to be a smart choice.

While Stoschek performed 13 special tests and kept the race division in check, Monteiro profited from his routine on the Mt. Blanco, Askari and Jerez circuits.

At the end of the 5th stage, the German-Portuguese team in their Porsche Carrera, which Emmerson Fittipaldi already raced in during the 1974 IROC-Series, was ahead of the French team Brigand/Albert by more than 1,5 minutes.
