Brose Receives Award from Volvo Trucks
Coburg/Göteborg (13 July 2007). The international commercial vehicle manufacturer Volvo Trucks has honoured the Brose Group with the "Volvo Purchasing Supplier Award" for top performance in respect of quality, delivery reliability and customer satisfaction. From the total of 1,700 suppliers worldwide, only eight received this award.
The Chairman of the Board of the Brose Group, Jürgen Otto, and Customer Team Leader Michael Lindner accepted the prize in Göteborg as representatives of all the Brose employees involved.
The Brose Group serves Volvo Trucks from its plants in Coburg, Wuppertal and Ostrava/Czech Republic. At present, all trucks produced worldwide by Volvo are fitted with window regulators from Brose. Furthermore, the international automotive supplier equips the trucks of Volvo and Renault built in Europe, North America and Brazil with door locks.
The market for heavy goods vehicles has seen in recent years annual growth rates of between 5 and 10%; Volvo Trucks is one of the oldest clients of the Brose Group.
