Brose receives Award from Chrysler

Detroit/Puebla (22.05.2006). The international car manufacturer DaimlerChrysler has awarded its Chrysler Group Gold Award to the Brose North American Headquarters in Detroit and production facility in Puebla, Mexico for the second consecutive year.

The award was given to brose based on excellent performance in the areas of quality, cost, technology and delivery, which places Brose in a leading position among its competitors.

Brose SA. De C.V. in Puebla supplies the Chrysler group with window regulators for vehicle models including the 300, Magnum, Charger and Pacifica. The development and prototype production for these products are the responsibility of Brose North America in Detroit.

“The international competition of door and seat systems continues to strengthen in the North American market. The award for our headquarters and for our Mexican facility is an important milestone for the further cooperation with the DaimlerChrysler corporation. In addition to current supply programs, we are developing our first door system concept for the Chrysler group. The production and supply will be out of our Puebla facility” said Jan Kowal, president Brose North America Inc.

DaimlerChrysler corporation is one of the most important, long standing customers of the Brose Group. Currently 39 vehicle models of the brands Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Dodge and Smart are supplied with window regulators, seat adjusters, door and closure systems. Brose supplies DaimlerChrysler out of 12 facilities in Europe, North America, South America and South Africa.
