(04/2001) For the third time Brose has helped to sponsor the scheme "Pupils sitting in the Boss's Chair" in Coburg. This program organized by the Rotary Club and local industry is directed at grammar school pupils from the region. It is possible for them to see what everyday life is like in a company and to experience what it means to take on responsibility. Five of the 80 A-Level pupils decided to have a short internship at Brose during the Easter holidays. In the business division of window regulators they were able to have an insight into the daily business of Executive Vice-President Adolf Rosensprung.

Within the framework of a business game they worked on a market-capable window regulator in the product development area, took the decision about which location the window regulator would be produced at in the future and wrote a press release for the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. In addition, they took part in the first Internet auction of the Brose purchasing department. Brose's primary aim with such projects is to win junior staff for the company. The scheme will be continued in the coming year.
