Brose up among the most interesting employers of German medium-sized companies

Coburg/Frankfurt. Brose is one of the ten most interesting employers as far as medium-sized companies in Germany are concerned. This was the result of a benchmarking contest “TOP JOB” headed by Dr Christian Scholz, Professor of Economics at the University of Saarland. Its aim was to determine, for the first time ever, which companies are considered to be the most attractive as employers. 75 companies participated in the project. The award ceremony took place on 18 November 2002.

Assessment criteria included management issues such as strategy and vision, competency in leading, developing and recruiting staff, remuneration, family orientation, communication and computerization.

“Brose achieved excellent scores in all areas,“ explained Scholz: “With its “New Brose Working World” the automotive supplier, Brose, is clearly making new groundbreaking advances”. The model provides the greatest possible scope for the employees: variable working time, performance-oriented remuneration instead of overtime payments, a flexible office concept with the most sophisticated communication technology and desk-sharing as well as an innovative sport and health program.
