Coburg/Detroit (21.01.2005). The DaimlerChrysler Group has honored Brose with the Global Supplier Award 2004“. Nine out of 500 suppliers worldwide were recognized for their outstanding performance in quality, system cost, technology and supply. Three of the nine winners were German companies.

Adolf Rosensprung, who was Deputy CEO of the Brose Group until the end of 2004, accepted the prize in the category “Exterior” at an event held in conjunction with the Detroit Auto Show.

"No matter whom the supplier, what the supplier makes or where they make it, each has to meet the same parameters - quality parts with appropriate technology, delivered on time, at a fair price,” said Thomas W. Sidlik, member of the DaimlerChrysler Board of Management responsible for Global Procurement and Supply.

Brose supplies DaimlerChrysler from twelve plants in Europe, North America, South America and Africa. Currently Brose is equipping 40 vehicle models of the brands Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler and Smart with window regulators, seat adjusters, door systems and closure systems. The DaimlerChrysler Group is one of Brose’s most important and longest-standing customers.
