Coburg (17.12.2004). Adolf Rosensprung (62), Deputy CEO of the Brose corporate group, will be retiring from the management board at the end of the year. He will continue to serve the company in a consulting capacity.

His retirement from Brose marks the end of an era. Adolf Rosensprung has worked for the Upper Franconian family-owned company for 40 years. In 1965, Max Brose, the company’s founder, took him on as a departmental manager in the window regulator sales area. In 1984, Rosensprung was made a deputy board member. Four years later, he was put in charge of sales and appointed a member of the board. For the last ten years, he has been the deputy of Michael Stoschek, President and CEO of the Brose Group.

When Adolf Rosensprung joined Brose, the company had a turnover of 16 million euros. “At that time, we were operating in Germany and it was possible to count on two hands the number of customers we had back then,” recalls Rosensprung. On the occasion of his 25th anniversary at the company, he ventured to predict: “Our most exciting years are still to come.”

According to the planning figures adopted at the shareholder and advisory board meeting on 15 December 2004, the Brose Group intends to increase its turnover over the next five years achieving a business volume of 3 billion euros in 2009, 65 percent of which will be generated outside Germany.
