London/Coburg, 29th April 2004. Brose is also regarded internationally as an attractive employer: a survey held by the Great Place to Work Institute Europe and the economic newspaper Financial Times and published at the end of April concluded that the international automotive supplier was one of the best 100 employers in Europe. Some 1,000 companies from 14 EU countries took part in the competition.
One of the main reasons for Brose receiving the award was the good result it had achieved in a national competition held by the economic journal Capital in conjunction with the research company psychonomics. In February 2004, Brose finished ninth in the category ?large companies, making it the best in its line of business. Brose came in sixteenth place in the overall standings of the 50 most attractive companies in Germany.
