Frankfurt (11.09.2003). German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder visited Brose’s trade fair booth during his traditional tour of the motor show. Michael Stoschek, CEO of the Brose Group, showed the Chancellor, Franfurt’s mayor Petra Roth as well as Bernd Gottschalk, President of the Automotive Association (VDA) and other committee members around the company’s booth. Stoschek talked about Brose’s expertise in car doors and seats as well as about the international orientation of the corporate group.

Gerhard Schröder was particularly interested in the Brose Working World with its flexible office system and result-oriented remuneration. Additionally, Stoschek informed the Chancellor about the job advertising campaign “Wanted: older people” which elicited a positive response from all over Germany.

Schröder praised the company’s efforts in this area, adding that the future belonged to such job models. He wished there were more industrialists like Michael Stoschek who had the courage today to take on older people.
