56 young people embarking on their professional life in the Brose Group

Coburg (09.09.2003). At the beginning of September 2003, 56 young women and men began their training at the automotive supplier’s locations in Coburg, Hallstadt and Wuppertal. 44 young persons will each be trained in one of six technical and commercial professions. Another 12 have began their engineering degrees at the Berufsakademie (university of cooperative education).

Brose has taken on an additional ten apprentices this year. “The specific training of young people is an integral part of our HR activities, providing them with promising future job prospects, a sharp contrast to what is usually the case on the current dismal labor market,” explained Michael Stammberger, head of apprentice training.

The first week began with a five-day introductory seminar for the young people at the Jugendhaus Neukirchen. Working in groups, they gained an initial insight into what their training entailed. They did not miss out on any fun either. In the evening, they had the opportunity to get to know each other in the course of a sports competition.

Currently there are 169 apprentices and Berufsakademie students undergoing professional training in the Brose Group.
