Hallstadt pays tribute to the pioneering spirit of Max Brose
"The new street name was a way for us to pay tribute, in particular, to the pioneering spirit of the company founder Max Brose, who laid the foundation stone of the Brose Group over 80 years ago," says Braun.. Max Brose was fortunate to find an excellent successor in his grandson Michael Stoschek, who has continued to develop the family company in the third generation into a company with worldwide presence.
In the Hallstadt plant Brose has produced window regulators and door systems for German and French automobile manufacturers since 1990. After an extension was made to the plant eight years ago, new extensive construction work began in the summer of 1999, which will be finished by the end of this year.
"Our location in Hallstadt will acquire important administrative functions with worldwide competence when, in a few weeks, the business division of door systems and the central function of electrics/electronics start up there," said Michael Stoschek. As a result the area of Bamberg has finally established itself as a main office for Brose alongfide with Coburg.
