The Bamberg Symphony Orchestra
Since 2001, our location of Hallstadt near Bamberg has been sponsoring the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra which was given the title of the Bavarian State Philharmonic in 2007. Our financial backing allows this traditional cultural institution to hold two concert events a year for students, offering attractive admission prices and catering particularly to a young audience.
For the first time in 2007, we were the main sponsors in the „Gustav-Mahler Conducting Competition“ – an internationally acclaimed, top-class music competition attracting applications to compete from 220 young artists in 40 countries.

World Heritage Trust Bamberg
We supported one of the projects of the "World Heritage Trust Bamberg", by making a donation toward restoring the Baroque Crucifixion Group in front of Bamberg's historic town hall.
Work on the 300-year old sandstone monument by Johann Leonard Gollwitzer was completed in the summer of 2006 after a two-year restoration phase. The four Evangelists now stand in renewed glory together with Maria and Maria Magdalena around the crucifix on the Upper Bridge.
