Production Plants and Joint Ventures

Würzburg, the headquarters of the Electric Motors business division, is the Brose Group’s largest production facility for electric motors. Since 1957, it has been manufacturing the following products: air-conditioning fans; radiator motors and modules; drives for electric window regulators, sliding roofs and electric belt tensioners; electric steering units; electronic brake systems; and motors for automatic transmissions. Its most important customers include Behr, Bosch, BMW, Continental, TRW, Valeo, Visteon, Volkswagen and ZF-Lenksysteme.
 
The business division’s research and development centre is also located here.
 
Currently there are approx. 1550 employees working at the location.
