Production Plants and Joint Ventures

In May 2000, the German-Chinese joint venture Shanghai Brose Automotive Components Co., Ltd. (see picture bar at top) , was the first supplier in the People’s Republic of China to start with the just-in-sequence delivery of door systems. These are supplied in line with FAW-VW's and SVW's own vehicle assembly schedule. Further customers include Ford and Volvo.

There are approx. 230 employees working for Brose in Shanghai.
Certification: in line with ISO/TS 16949 : 2002


Our second joint venture Shanghai Brose Electric Motors Co., Ltd.  (see picture bar below) manufactures window regulator motors, HVAC blowers and cooling fan modules.

Some 260 persons work at this plant.
