Production Plants and Joint Ventures
The plant in Saarwellingen went operational in June 2003. Door systems are produced in cross-plant collaboration with the plants in Hallstadt/Germany and Ghent/Belgium for the Ford Focus and the C-Max.
Delivery of the products is carried out on a Just-In-Sequence basis to the Ford plant in Saarlouis, just two kilometers away. A maximum of 60 minutes may elapse between the delivery order and delivery of the door systems to the assembly line at Ford: This is the shortest lead time within the Brose Group.
Certification: in line with ISO/TS 16949 : 2002 and ISO 14001 : 2005
