Production Plants and and Joint Ventures

The production plant in Gifhorn went operational in March 2008. In collaboration with sister plants in Meerane and Bratislava, this location produces door systems for the Golf and Tiguan models and delivers them in sequence to Volkswagen Wolfsburg, our customer 15 km away. In this manner, VW receives the Brose products just-in-sequence and ready to be mounted between 250 and 300 minutes after the order is received.

Window lifts and door console units are mounted onto the module carrier in Meerane and Bratislava. The door systems are completed with a wiring harness, lock, speaker and other attached parts in Gifhorn.
