Production Plants and Joint Ventures in Europe

Brose has had a production plant for door systems and window regulators in Hallstadt since 1989. Situated near Bamberg, Hallstadt is conveniently located for transport connections. In recent years, production has been expanded to encompass various new products, including drives for power sunblinds and plastic for door systems. The customers of this production facility in Bavaria include Audi, BMW, Chrysler, Ford, GM, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Landrover, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Porsche, PSA, Renault, Seat, Skoda, Smart, Toyota, Volvo and Volkswagen.

The door systems business division and the electronics development have also been based in Hallstadt since 2001. The production facilities have been expanded to include electronics production.

The European aftermarket center for the door systems business division was established in Hallstadt in 2006.
